What We Do

WIN House provides individuals and their children fleeing violence crisis response and intervention, safe temporary accommodation, and support for basic needs. Those seeking our services are offered trauma-informed, client-centered programming and support, access to resources, information, and referrals to community supports.

What You Will Do

The Director of Development reports to the Executive Director and will lead the development strategy and operationalize the fund development plan. This position oversees the Fund Development team, the development of revenue streams, and will integrate marketing into fundraising strategies. The successful candidate will manage a small portfolio of WIN House's highest network donors and work to strategically cultivate, solicit, and steward them.

Who You Are

Requirements include a post-secondary degree and a minimum of seven years’ related experience. Demonstrated success in raising 1.5 million annually, strong leadership, knowledge of fundraising best-practices and fundraising platforms including Donor Perfect are required. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills are essential.

The Details

Standard hours of work are 8:30 to 4:30 from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 to 2:30 on Fridays. The successful candidate must be available for evening and weekend work and can expect to travel within the city as needed to successfully fulfill position requirements. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. WIN House offers an attractive benefits package, including a pension plan and a hybrid working environment.
