What We Do

WIN House provides individuals and their children fleeing violence crisis response and intervention, safe temporary accommodation, and support for basic needs. Those seeking our services are offered trauma-informed, client-centered programming and support, access to resources, information, and referrals to community supports.

What You Will Do

The Development Officer- Annual Giving reports to the Director of Development and is accountable for managing and growing direct response fundraising campaigns to retain and develop the individual donor file, reactivate lapsed donors, acquire new donors, and upgrade donors to Monthly Giving. The Development Officer- Annual Giving coordinates and advances Annual, Staff, and Planned Giving. This position organizes, plans, and implements programs to secure annual gifts from WIN House donors, community members, and staff supporting WIN House's funding priorities. The Annual Giving Officer will coordinate and implement the delivery of the calendar of activities for the Annual Giving program, coordinate new fundraising activities, and have responsibility for the ongoing delivery of the online giving site. This role will oversee the monthly donor program, digital marketing and online giving, and direct mail and e-mail solicitation strategies. The Annual Giving program also feeds into WIN House's Major Gift programs by engaging and identifying potential major donors.

Who You Are

Requirements include post-secondary education and a minimum of two years of directly related experience. A high degree of professionalism, initiative, and creativity are required to be successful in the position. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience building annual giving programs, using superior communication, organization, and technical skills.

The Details

Standard hours of work are 8:30 to 4:30 from Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 to 2:30 on Fridays. The successful candidate should be available for evening and weekend work and, on occasion, may need to travel within the city to successfully fulfill position requirements. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. WIN House offers a pet-friendly, team -oriented, hybrid working environment.
