ADVANCEMENT

Reporting to the Donor Relations Consultant, the Coordinator is collaborates with the Advancement team to ensure donors and partners are shown gratitude, acknowledgement, and recognition regardless of the level of their giving. Using the understanding of the link between stewardship and cultivation, the Coordinator supports the implementation of prospect strategies with leadership, annual, and major giving relationship managers, acting as a project manager, communicator, and relationship builder.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Review executed Donation & Recognition Agreements.

  • Enter actions into Raiser’s Edge to ensure accurate execution of all commitments.

  • Monitor and complete actions as required, working closely with Advancement team members to ensure all actions are completed.

  • Query and manage lists from Raiser’s Edge for events, Community Reports, and other mailings, ensuring required recognitions permissions are obtained.

  • Manages RSVP lists for fundraising events.

  • Enter event information into Raiser’s Edge, linked to attendees, updating other donor records as required.

  • Provide administrative support in filing, photocopying, scanning, preparation of mailings, supply inventory, courier packages, and other related office duties.

  • Produce queries and reports.

  • Coordinate all requirements to fulfill stewardship plans, including collateral and ad development, story development, quotes, and bookings.

  • Assist advancement team in creation of Donor and Sponsor Recognition Agreements.

  • Support with administration of recognition signage for the college and design and placement of new signage, donor walls, and sponsorship naming in facilities.

  • Manage requisition of donor wall and plaque updates.

  • Prepare stewardship reports including annual digital Endowment fund reports, progress reports, and other reports as required by Advancement Team.

  • In collaboration with the Branding, Marketing and Communications department, develop stewardship and donor relations materials.

  • Develop, edit, and update web content for Advancement.

  • Coordinate and support Thankview and Odder digital stewardship, creating best in class digital donor experience.

  • Support development activities for individualized stewardship opportunities and coordinate resources from the Advancement team to implement plans, including individual stewardship donor campus visits, digital communications, and personalized recognition gifts.

  • Lead the reporting of results to Donors, prioritizing production of annual stewardship reports and oversight of their creation, including directing all research required. 

  • Reporting includes annual Endowment fund reports, Shine report, reports to award donors, impact and progress reports, and sponsorship fulfillment reports.

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Diploma in a related field like Marketing and Communication, Fund Development, or Event Management.

  • 2+ years' experience in marketing and communications, fund development, or relationship building.

  • Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to event sites - some travel and availability outside normal business hours is needed to help support events.

WHAT MAKES YOU A DIFFERENCE MAKER

  • Professional experience with creating strong written and digital communications including letters, impact reports, and briefing notes.

  • Ablility to problem solve and use judgment in situations requiring initiative.

  • Strong attention to detail and experience inputting data into CRM and databases.

  • Time management skills with the ability to translate plans into action.

  • Excellent judgment in handling confidential information and maintaining ethical standards.

SALARY:  $43,988 - $57,175 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) and includes immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
