Salary: $146,478 - $228,872

As it plans for its next and most ambitious fundraising and alumni engagement campaign, UBC is seeking an Executive Director, Planning to provide strategic guidance to the Development and Alumni Engagement (DAE) leadership team related to planning and executing a comprehensive campaign. Reporting to the VP DAE and as part of the leadership team, the Executive Director, Planning will help with strategy, planning and project management across DAE. This 2-year term position will provide additional help to build campaign capacity across the portfolio and assist with specific projects associated with this monumental phase in DAE history.

The ideal candidate will bring considerable depth of experience in launching significant fundraising and alumni engagement campaigns of at least $1 Billion, as well as a thorough understanding of fundraising in a University environment. As this role works closely with DAE and UBC leadership, senior volunteers, major donors, key alumni and external counsel, strong interpersonal skills, tact, discretion, and sound judgment is required. This individual will also have the ability to work simultaneously on a variety of complex projects with tight deadlines and the ability to formulate strategic plans and set direction.
