Edmonton Meals on Wheels (EMOW) is looking for an experienced Fundraising Event & Project Coordinator.
EMOW is a local non-profit agency that provides home-delivered meals, other food services and social connections to a diverse mix of people. We’re well known for exceptional food services and creative, innovative strategies that engage the community in various events, partnerships, and volunteer opportunities.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position plays a key role in the success of the Edmonton Meals on Wheels Fund Development department and is under the supervision of the Community Engagement and Fund Development Manager.
The Coordinator is creative, organized, goal-oriented and able to leverage the Meals on Wheels story to diverse groups on various platforms. The incumbent provides direct and behind the scenes support to further the goals of the department. The Coordinator is also responsible for creating and executing exciting and creative fundraising and donor engagement opportunities for all stakeholders. This involves researching new funding opportunities, executing donor relations duties and assisting in the planning of fundraising events.
