New Requirement for Salary Range in Job Postings

Following the lead of AFP Global, effective March 1, 2021, all job postings on the AFP Edmonton & Area’s job board will be required to include a salary range. AFP strongly believes this is an essential step to increasing equity, inclusion, and fairness in the fundraising profession.

By including the salary range in all job postings, we are helping to reduce the salary gaps we see in the fundraising profession and in all of society based on gender, race, and other factors. This change is about encouraging transparency and helps set expectations for organizations and job applicants. Furthermore, research shows that jobs with salary ranges get 30% more attention.
